WHO CAN DONATE BLOOD?

Any healthy individual can donate blood. Before taking blood, some questions related to your health will be asked to make sure that you can donate blood.

CAN I DONATE BLOOD IF I HAD JUANDICE PREVIOUSLY?

No, if you have a history of juandice in the past, you need to be screened for hepatitis before donating blood.

DO I HAVE ENOUGH BLOOD TO DONATE?

Yes. The body contains 10-12 pints of blood.

HOW MUCH BLOOD IS TAKEN?

For a whole blood donation, approximately one pint (500ml) is collected.

WILL DONATING BLOOD HURT?
